Can Jet Elevate the Shopping Club Experience?
Jet launched this week, and it could be part of a growing trend. Many
people love the club retail shopping idea of Costco, BJ's and Sam's
Club. Jet is a new e-commerce player offering a similar shopping
experience. Will the online model be successful? The retail shopping
club is one of America's success stories. Customers pay an annual fee to
become members.

Apple's Tumble: Trouble in Paradise?
Apple's stock slid on Wednesday following the company's fiscal Q3
earnings report late Tuesday. Shares opened at $122.05 -- more than $8
down from Tuesday's closing price of $130.75 -- but inched upward to
close the day at $125.22. Analysts were atwitter over the quarterly
results, some implying they heralded big trouble in little doses for
Apple. Others insisted there was no basis for the fuss.

The Process/Platform Revolution
I've been looking at process as the next big thing in CRM for a while.
It only makes sense, for several reasons. First, as we move to
conducting increasing amounts of business online, we lose the intimacy
of personal contact between vendor personnel and customers. In its place
we need accurate and authentic processes that treat customers in ways
they appreciate.

Bogies Spotted: Jet Ventures Into Amazon's Airspace
Amazon has been in its prime for quite some time, but there's a new show
in town, and it claims that its prices are lower. Online merchant Jet
opened its inventory of millions of products to consumers on Tuesday.
While Amazon's Prime subscription service offers consumers extra perks
for $99 a year, Jet requires payment of a $50 annual membership fee to
make purchases.
