AT&T confirms it is buying ad platform AppNexus, reportedly for between $1.6B-$2B You may not find the adtech business all that exciting, but AT&T feels differently — as do other mobile carriers, like our parent company Verizon. AppNexus describes itself as the world's largest independent digital ad exchange. AT&T isn't revealing any of the financial terms, but last week's reports about acquisition discussions pegged the price at around $1.6 billion. 2. Apple reportedly working on next-gen, water-resistant AirPods Not only would these AirPods do better with perspiration and rain, but one source told Bloomberg that Apple could also add biometric sensors, furthering the company's health tracking efforts. 3.
