In a staff memo obtained by BuzzFeed News, CEO Tim Cook both acknowledged the milestone and suggested that employees not get too hung up on it. "Financial returns are simply the result of Apple's innovation, putting our products and customers first, and always staying true to our values," Cook wrote.
