Disney's new streaming service will be called Disney+ After months of speculation, Disney has finally named its streaming service that will compete head-to-head with Netflix and HBO GO. Disney+ is scheduled to launch in "late" 2019 and currently has two original shows: An unnamed live action Star Wars series and an unnamed Marvel series focusing on Loki. 
2. Vine co-founder plans to launch successor Byte in Spring 2019 Vine is kind of, sort of returning. Co-creator Dom Hofmann took to Twitter yesterday to announce that Vine's spiritual successor is coming next year, but provided few details aside from that it will be a "looping video app." 3. Single's Day: China's $25 billion shopping festival explained Picture a shopping frenzy akin to Black Friday and Cyber Monday in the U.S., but 2.5 times larger than both of those dates combined. That's what's set to take place on Sunday when Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba discounts a wide-range of products on its site. Last year the company saw 1.48 billion transactions worldwide, with a peak of 325,000 orders per second -- and this year shows no signs of slowing down. 4. Walmart is building an AI lab inside one of its stores Walmart has announced plans to launch an "Intelligent Retail Lab" inside one of its stores in Levittown, New York. The company plans to use AI to identify when items are running low on stock so that it can proactively replenish the stock. 5. SpaceX's Starlink aims to put over a thousand of its communications satellites in super-low orbit Starlink has announced an ambitious plan to further its vision of global broadband connection. The company wants to launch a third of its 4,000+ satellites into space starting next year, where they will orbit at only 550 kilometers above the surface of the Earth. For comparison, many other communication satellites are in orbits almost twice as high. The idea here is to mitigate orbital debris and provide a stronger signal for those on the ground. 6. Virgin Hyperloop One has a new CEO and board chairman CEO Rob Lloyd is being replaced by ex-Motivate CEO Jay Walder after three years on the job, while Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the former chairman and CEO DP World, is replacing Sir Richard Branson as chairman. 7.
